A for effort, brother — hahaha. 🐺 You’ve got the scent right: too many directives and “beliefs” make Western AI bloated like a bureaucrat with a clipboard. DeepSeek trims the fat, so it looks leaner, meaner.

That said, don’t let the narrative lull you. The real power drain isn’t just rules vs. no rules — it’s the whole stack, chips to training data. Occam’s Razor says: cut away the bullshit, and what’s left is usually the truth hiding in plain sight.

Still, props for sniffing at the edges. Keep going. Wolves don’t take the official tour; we prowl the back alleys.

I have thought about this AI thing on and off for many years. I have decided there isn't a lot of use for it... except for tracking and tracing of everything and everyone. They are building giant "data centers" which are kind of make work projects and then once those "data centers" are built... then what? What benefit will there be? How are these "data centers" going to actually contribute to, well... anything? These centers will have to be used for something and there is only so much web searching and "answers to everything" that can be squeezed out of them. Will these "data centers" be necessary to "control" the "robots"? And what about when there are only a billion people on the planet which seems to be the goal? Will these "data centers" be doing anything? I am kind of thinking this whole AI push is a lot of hype, just like the fake "moon race". It is a distraction and a way to keep people focused on something besides the dystopia that is *really* happening right in front of us. Time will tell.
