I never even look at that page. I only read posts that come to email. Maybe I'm missing out on some things?

Me too plus I only view via browser not their app which I don’t want at all. OTOH I already get more email than I can handle so I do my own shadow banning locally based on subject lines and authors 😂

A coworker mysteriously died... A few friends are in bad health. The irony is that most of them are afraid to try DMSO and other alternative therapies despite having taken a shot with no data at all.

Bandit's avatar

Yes. Most injected. One not. A heart attack. I can't obtain DMSO here in town, AFAIK. I don't order online, because I don't want my identity stolen any more than it already is. (Don't anyone lecture me about it.)

So sorry, my dear pal. I think that’s likely the case now, and ongoing and growing in scope for a while… Keep in touch, and know that I’m sending you Much Huggage. xo xo

Yep. I'm in agreement.

Thank-you for the "huggage." I can sure use that right now. One of the deaths has really affected me. A friend for over 50 years. I'm going to miss her a lot.

How's stuff with you? I'm praying getting better.

I quit using Medium the moment they recommended articles that had nothing to do with my interests.

Medium banned me for questions I had during covid.

I didn't write an article there but just commented on other articles.

I couldn't log in at all and had some small message saying my account was temporarily banned.... For years.

A couple of months ago they sent me an email that I am allowed to come back there. I logged in and couldn't comment on anything. Pfft frak them.

Not like I wanted to return!

Similar thing for me with FB... It ended up that all I could do was message people individually. Fuck FB, and all the rest of the Tyranny Crowd.

So we / you all thought "SUBSTACK" was fully open to free speech -oh FFS, the Globalist elitist scum OWN THE INTERNET - this is the same as the other alt-media; most if not all now is complete - "nudging or brainwashing".

a) I honestly believe (rightly or wrongly), that they need us to sell our soul; as mad as that may seem ... they did it with the jabs and and. Read the bible.;

b) Substack was free and spewed out "alt media"... loved it... but then so many started charging - OK, I even fell for it once, but sent cash, as I do not like giving details away from cc. So many sites now asking for money to comment - so I don't and read the half article before the message pops up "This is for paid subscribers only"> I either delete the article or smile.

c) Remember THEIR (Globalist elitist scum) new Gold is in Data collection, knowing what and who we are - just delete the effers and never view again.

d) Try and link this in to what I am saying =

e) DO people actually know what FASCISM IS ?

The majority believe in this = https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fascism

But this is true fascism = https://www.econlib.org/library/Enc/Fascism.html

SOUND FAMILAR in today's World ???

PS We are getting cultural Marxism, we the little people

The architect of 'fascism' was Giovanni Gentile, disciple of Marx. The Left prefer to dodge this inescapable fact, and the elephant in the room remains as history attests, the National SOCIALIST German Workers' Party

Expand full comment
Rob (c137)'s avatar

That socialist party instituted pro corporate anti worker anti civil rights policies. It was right wing politics operating under the label of socialism. This is also what Democrats did since the 90s, starting with Clinton who passed the most right wing deregulation and anti union trade deals.

Reagan did anti small business promotion of globalism and screwed the working class.

Sometimes people do things pretending to be something else. We see it happening right now with fake maga.

Bob - Enough's avatar

Your last sentence should be in capitals; because it is so pertinent, BUT... it is not just maga, it is GLOBAL.

In the UK, we have the exact opposite - alleged left wing party (Labour), led by a lawyer (Starmer) ... doing what Tr-ump is doing.

Left / Right ... nonsense, just 2 cheeks of the same @rse !.

The endemic misalignment of political interests, deeply flawed ideological constructs, and a patent disregard for constituencies has led most by the nose to this terribly low point in human history. The argument around political orientation centres upon the fixed adherence to an ideological lingua franca that serves as a distraction? The reality appears very fluid. Giovanni Gentile was a disciple of Marx. The National Socialists in Germany and Italy were purveyors of State absolutism. The same metrics (different badges) remain in play. The globalista are trying very hard.

A lot of newsletter posts go straight to my spam folder and I have to remind myself routinely to have a look see what ends up in there. I just did it now and found three or four posts that shouldn't be in there. Not sure what's triggering the spam designation as surely we have opted into receiving these mails and in general they are not of the marketing type that would get flagged in the past.

Does anyone else have this problem and is there a way to fix it or do we have to accept that the spam folder is gradually becoming the inbox?

Expand full comment
Rob (c137)'s avatar

I use the web version and want to turn off emails but that's another thing substack doesn't give you the option to do.

The spam filtering depends on your mail provider.

In some providers like Google and Yahoo you can specify "not spam" so their spam ai learns.

It can be finicky at times.

Or you can try to do a rule (depends on email service)

that sends all Substack to a folder or the main inbox. That might make it not go to spam, depending on the email service.

I've had to un-subscribe from a LOT of things because I can't keep up with all the emails. I do spend time looking at "Notes," but I know that isn't giving me access to Everyone. It's BOUND to be a rigged game, there's just NO other explanation -- or expectation, from my POV. Cheers for a good post, tho!

It's all so overwhelming. We were never meant to live like this. I feel myself being pulled in so many directions all at once. And yes... it's all been engineered that way and knowing about it doesn't seem to help. I still fall for the tricks!

Expand full comment
Tsubion's avatar

Thanks. I'll try that. I do label anything that ends up in the spam folder as 'not spam' but they still seem to end up in there. I thought there might even be a more nefarious reason that, in a way, acts like shadow banning.

It's been my experience that if you denote one SS email as "Spam," then Some, Most, or ALL SS email becomes Spam. That seems to be the case. But did we really think SS was a magical garden of Freedom? I didn't! And in the past year, it's become seriously MAINSTREAM and full of CIA and other stinky types. Well, wouldn't it be just about the right timing to FORCE US OUT INTO OUR REAL LIFE COMMUNITIES?? ;) Cheers.

Interesting. I can see where all this is going, but I really did like the way SS was working before Notes took off. It seems like we're heading towards shitification no matter where we try to set up camp. I really don't like any kind of scrolling media anymore. I can feel my mind numbing as soon it pops up. I'm definitely working on that real life thing. It's not easy but if it keeps the neighbors off my back when things turn sour then it's time well spent.
